**NOTE: This new way will conflict with my other mod Character Creator Skill Changes because they edit the same file. I'm adding a variety of total points so you can make some less if you want a dumb character for example so do the math yourself to figure out which one to choose. Gives you 18 points to start so you can make each one very high, no more dependence on the attribute spell method I used before. I don't think it's a bad game, but it's definitely not a great game that people are making it out to be.New! Figured out how to do this in a simpler way. When I first saw the "run faster" perk I laughed, "why? so I can get to the other side of the map in 10 sec instead of 15?" And if they're only gonna let you go to 2 planets, 2 asteroids, and 2 ships at least make them a little bigger, I stopped using sprint cause I was getting around too fast. I still remember quests from games I played a decade ago, can't recall any from this from days ago. Also had Myoka die from standing on a campfire, gotta love that AI. I did laugh once when Felix told me to watch out for sulfer pits while he died from crouching in one. The enemies are cookie cutter mmo, go too far and they run back and reset.ĥ hours in I found myself hitting spacebar to get through boring conversations so I could go fetch an item and run back. Heck, I even remember having to chase down enemies low on health in Deus Ex. Totally agree OP, I think I was expecting Mass Effect type enemies shooting from cover or Fallout 4 raiders that lobbed grenades from behind barriers, not guys running a straight line to the end of my gun barrel. I hope DLC might make use of them but, tbh I don't think i'd waste my money on any DLC considering how bland the game is. ![]() And maybe pirate stations hidden away in Olympus' atmosphere, smuggling goods onto Monarch then retreating away into their hidden bases when the UDL catch sight of them.īut no, they're all just useless locations on the map, presumably there to give the illusion of size. I thought there'd be secret resistance bases on Typhon, where resistance groups can work away from the Board. When I first saw the size of the solar system, I expected there to be, floating settlements in the upper layer of Eridanos' atmosphere, with workers struggling to make a living in the distillation plants, or huge barren wastes on Hephaestus, with sparse mining outposts with overworked miners plagued by bands of pirates and marauders. There could be pirate outposts, secret research facilities, resistance bases. ![]() The only planets that are actually refered to as "uninhabitable" are Olympus and Typhon, and even then it doesn't say uninhabited. Distillation plants in the atmosphere harvest these gases for energy. Its atmosphere is rich with hydrogen, helium, and various noble gases. The Hephaestus Mining Company was first to establish outposts here, and as such it has claimed the planet for itselfĮridanos - Halcyon's second Jovian gas giant. Hephaestus - The closest planet to the sun. That didn't really bother me mainly because they all say they're uninhabited on the map. Theyre on the map to make you think the game is twice as big but you never get to go to any of them. Strangelove:Oh and btw does no one give a ♥♥♥♥ about half the map being inaccessible? Theres like 4 planets that just don't exist in game. Oh and btw does no one give a ♥♥♥♥ about half the map being inaccessible? Theres like 4 planets that just don't exist in game. How the ♥♥♥♥ is this game getting 8's and 9's? It's just go here and collect that, go there and push a button on a computer, go here and kill/talk to a guy I only finished this game two days ago yet I can barely remember a single interesting quest. ![]() They don't flank or even take cover, they literally just stand in the open shooting at you or the just run directly at you. Seriously just atrocious, if any other fps game had AI this bad it would be laughed at and boycotted. You can't continue after the main game, another thing that new vegas caught ♥♥♥♥ for but is apparently fine here. I mean why the ♥♥♥♥ did everyone create a fuss over that in new vegas but here its not only acceptable but "amazing" and "outstanding level of player choice" The illusion of choice because no matter what it all ends the same way and the only thing that changes are the narration over still images the game flashes up at the end. Its a bland uninspired rpg with boring game mechanics. It doesnt even come close to skyrim let alone new vegas
